The games tonight at Leibel will be played at the regular times.  The games scheduled for Optimist on Saturday October 10, have been moved to Sunday October 11 at Taylor Field at Mosaic Stadium.

Each game will be 1 hour earlier then it was originally scheduled.  Schedule below.   Couple of issues, 50-50 sellers - the game day people will have the tickets between the benches.  Also because of the Rider game Saturday Night, there will only be two sections of Mosaic Stadium open for seating.  These are the two sections directly above the tunnel where the visiting team comes out. These sections are on the main level only.  Please let your parents know to use the North end entrance and that the staff at Mosaic does not want anyone sitting outside of these two sections or kids running around in the stands as the stands will be full of garbage, snow, and ice, and it will be dangerous.

Rain out Policy
When it has been raining enough that fields are wet, and games or practices may be cancelled, the City of Regina will post this information on their website.  The City’s website is www.regina.ca.  On main page under Popular Topics, scroll down and click on City’s daily athletic field updates.  The site is updated everyday at 3:00 p.m.  We will try to monitor the site for cancellations and up-date our own website and send out emails to the Coaches and Managers as soon as possible.  This may not always be possible, so you are responsible for monitoring the situation and informing your players and parents.  Please remember we are on a tight schedule to complete our season.  In the event of a rainout, games will be re-scheduled as soon as possible in order to fit them in.  Please be prepared for this, once games are re-scheduled they cannot be changed.  If practices are cancelled teams are not allowed to practice on the green spaces.  The City of Regina drives around and monitors fields when they cancel games or practices.  Teams caught practicing could lose their permit for their green space.

June 4, 2009

Players - All registered players will receive a letter from the RMF office near the end of June. The letter will contain team, coach & field information. As well as contact information and important dates.

Coaches - The RMF Coach Selection Committee is currently engaged in the process of selecting coaches for the teams within each division. All succesful applicants will receive a phone call or email from the appropriate division director or RMF Board member before June 15th.

Gene Makowsky and Brad Wall are teaming up to give a major boost to minor football in Saskatchewan.

On Monday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive lineman and the Saskatchewan Premier unveiled a report by Makowsky that examines the current state of Saskatchewan's minor football. The report identifies ways to overcome barriers to participation and includes recommendations to overcome those barriers to grow the sport in the province. Read More

We will be selling Practice pants & girdles from our new equipment room at 1352 Winnipeg Street on July 28, 29, 30 and 31  5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., August 5,and 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and August 11, 12, 13, and 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.   Practice pants/girdles cost $30.00 each.  Acceptable payment is by cash or cheque only.  No post-dated cheques.

The Regina Rams will be putting 25% of the money raised at this poker tournament into the RMF Scholarship Fund which is given to a Ram player who played Regina Minor Football. The Rams are asking for your support in this tournament. Help support former and future RMF players who play for the Rams.

The University of Regina Rams are putting on a Christmas Edition - Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament to be hosted by CASINO REGINA. Part of the proceeds will be going to the U of R Rams and the Regina Minor Football Scholarship.

The first 100 paid registrants at $60 each will be entered into this fundraising tournament.

Location: Casino Regina - Coach Room
Time: 6:00pm
Buy-in/ Entry Fee: $60 ($20 rebuys/ topups)
Players: 100 (first to pay - play) - Must be 19 years of Age or older to enter...
